Human brain controls mouse with gestures
The first human to have a brain chip implanted by Elon Musk's company Neuralink has fully recovered. He is now able to control the computer mouse with brain gestures. News Reuters.
Elon Musk, founder of Neuralink, said this information in a post on micro-blogging site X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, February 19.
Progress is pretty good; Elon Musk wrote in the post. The man with the brain chip has made a full recovery. We are not aware of any physical problems. He can now control the mouse on the computer screen by pointing. Neuralink is now trying to get as many mouse clicks from that person as possible.
However, when contacted for comment, Neuralink did not provide any details.
On January 28 this year, Neuralink successfully implanted a chip in the human brain for the first time. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) last year gave Neuralink the go-ahead to test implanting chips in the human brain.
